TL;DR
Challenge fees are not refundable just because you didn’t pass, but PropXP does offer a “fee back” refund after your 2nd performance reward on funded accounts from challenges. There is no fee refund for Instant Funding accounts.
How it works
- Main rule: your Challenge purchase becomes refundable only once you claim your second performance reward (challenge → funded → first reward → second reward + fee refund). Instant Funding accounts are not eligible for this type of refund.
- Not refundable if the challenge fails due to rule violations, inactivity, or you cancel/quit.
- Payment mistakes: if you overpaid / duplicated a payment, support can typically refund the excess or apply credit after review.
Common gotchas
- “I passed Phase 1 / got my first reward, can I have my refund now?” No. Refund is tied to the second reward.
- Inactivity closures and breaches = no refund.
- Overpayments are a different story: don’t chargeback first, message support with proof (TXID for crypto).
- “Refund” here means challenge fee back, not “undo my results.” Your trading outcomes still stand.
- Instant Funding account fees are not refundable after the second performance reward.
Example
You pass, get funded, request your 1st performance reward, still no fee refund. Once you request your 2nd reward, the challenge fee will be added to it.
