TL;DR
If MT5 freezes, rules don’t freeze with it. Drawdown still applies. If it’s a real PropXP-side outage, we’ll fix damage, but you’ll need evidence.
How it works
- Your equity can move while your screen is dead. Daily/max loss still applies.
- A VPS reduces downtime risk, but it’s not a magic shield against all evil.
- If there’s a major server outage on our side, PropXP can correct the impact, but we verify using logs/data, so submit a proper ticket.
- Execution/latency depends on infrastructure + internet connection; delays happen in trading, you should be prepared.
Common gotchas
- “My internet died” is on you (and your sizing).
- If your position needs constant babysitting, your strategy is actually “hope + Wi-Fi” and it may earn you a breach instead of a passing certificate.
- Planned maintenance exists (and platforms can be temporarily inaccessible), so don’t run oversized risk into known maintenance windows.
- Best defense is boring: hard SL/TP, sensible size, keep a buffer.
Example
Your VPS reboots mid-trade. Price spikes, equity hits the daily loss line while you’re offline: breach still counts. (If it’s a verified PropXP-side outage, you open a ticket with order IDs + timestamps + Platform journal and we’ll fix it.)
