Multiple accounts: Can I have more than one?

Program Instant Funding One Phase Two Phase
Severity Info

TL;DR

Yes, multiple accounts are allowed, but don’t use them to hedge/offset each other, and there’s a $400,000 cap on total active Challenges and total Funded exposure ($400k in challenges + $400k in funded, not $400k together).

How it works

  • PropXP allows multiple accounts, but prohibits using them to hedge or offset positions between accounts.
  • Capacity cap: you can hold up to $400,000 in active challenges at the same time, and up to $400,000 across funded accounts.
  • Accounts are personal, you can’t run someone else’s account or share yours.

Common gotchas

  • “I’ll long on one account and short on the other to neutralize risk” > that’s exactly what is forbidden.
  • The $400k cap is total exposure on challenge and on funded accounts (passed challenges + Instant Funding), not “per account.”
  • If you’re running multiple accounts, your activity needs to look like independent, legitimate trading, not coordinated hedging.
  • Ownership matters: if a profile/account looks like it’s being operated by someone else, you’re inviting reviews.

Example

You can run four $100k challenges at once ($400k total) or two $200k challenges. Once funded, you can also hold multiple funded accounts as long as the combined funded size stays ≤ $400k.

So, if you pass four $400k challenges, then you can buy another four $400k challenges. This way you would have max allocation for both funded and challenge accounts.
