Inactivity: what happens if I don’t trade for 30 days

Program Instant Funding One Phase Two Phase
Severity Important

TL;DR

If you go 30 days without placing a trade, your account can be marked inactive and terminated, and there’s no refund for that closure.

How it works

  • If you don’t place any trades for 30 days, PropXP may terminate the account for inactivity.
  • “Classic gotcha”: no open trades + no trades placed for 30 days = termination.
  • Practical fix: place at least one trade inside each 30-day window to stay active.

Common gotchas

  • “I was waiting for the perfect setup” = the timer doesn’t care. Place any trade.
  • “I logged into MT5, so I’m active” = activity is trades, not logins.
  • Inactivity closure means no refund.
  • If you think it was applied by mistake, support can review.

Example

You buy a challenge on Jan 1 and don’t place a single trade until Feb 1–2 = you risk getting marked inactive/terminated. One small trade mid-month keeps the account alive.
