Does PropXP have a time limit to pass?

Program One Phase Two Phase
Severity Important

TL;DR

No “you must pass in X days” countdown, but you can’t go MIA forever: there’s a 30-day inactivity rule on all accounts (including Instant Funding and Funded Accounts), and the consistency rule effectively requires 3+ trading days to pass any account or claim a performance reward.

How it works

  • No maximum trading-period deadline in force for Challenges.
  • Inactivity rule: if you place no trades for 30 consecutive days, the Challenge, Funded Account, or Instant Funding Account is marked inactive and terminated.
  • Consistency rule (40% for One-Phase and Two-Phase, 20% for Instant Funding) means you normally need performance across at least 3 days (5 days for Instant Funding) to satisfy the math.

Common gotchas

  • “No time limit” ≠ “park it for 2 months.” Trade at least once every 30 days.
  • You can hit the profit target and still not pass if the consistency rule isn’t satisfied.
  • If you’re a low-frequency swing trader, schedule a tiny “heartbeat trade” so your account doesn’t die of neglect.

Example

You trade actively in January, then stop completely. If you place zero trades for 30 days, the Challenge gets terminated as inactive—even if you planned to “come back later.”
