TL;DR
PropXP acts as a data controller, collects only what it needs to run the platform (registration, KYC, usage, limited billing), doesn’t sell personal data, and gives you rights like access/correction/deletion (subject to legal retention).
How it works
- Who controls your data: PropXP is the data controller for the service.
- What data is collected (high level):
- Registration details (name, email, country).
- KYC documents (ID + proof of residence) before funded/reward eligibility.
- Usage/security data (login, IP, device/browser).
- Limited billing info for fees (PropXP doesn’t store full card data).
- Why it’s processed: operating the service, identity/eligibility checks, fraud prevention, communications, and compliance/record-keeping.
- Retention: KYC/personal data retained minimum 7 years from last activity (or longer if required).
- Cookies: strictly necessary cookies can run on legitimate interest; others require consent, and PropXP won’t use cookies to collect personal data without consent.
- Your rights: PropXP follows closely common GDPR-style rights: access, rectification/correction, deletion (where retention isn’t legally required), restriction/object, and consent withdrawal.
Common gotchas
- “Delete everything” has limits: if PropXP must retain records (e.g. for compliance), deletion may be limited until retention periods expire.
- KYC docs aren’t collected “for fun”, they’re part of eligibility and fraud prevention.
- Cookies ≠ always tracking: some are required just to keep the site functional/secure; consent applies to non-essential categories.
- If you want to exercise rights, use the official contact channel, not Discord DMs.
