Crypto weekend trading: is it treated differently?
TL;DR
Yes. Crypto markets don’t “close” in the same way, so crypto weekend trading and holding is always allowed, without add-ons.
How it works
PropXP’s weekend restrictions are about the close/reopen gap window. Crypto trades 24/7, so that specific weekend close risk doesn’t apply the same way.
Common gotchas
- Crypto volatility can be savage on weekends. “Allowed” ≠ “good idea.”
- Your normal risk limits still apply (daily/max loss).
Example
It’s Sunday night and you’re trading BTC. That’s allowed. Just try not to do it with “one candle can breach me” sizing.
